Andrea Christmas nominated Phoebe Osborne, one of our clubs young swimming teachers for the Wiltshire and Swindon Sports Awards Young Volunteer of the Year.
This annual ceremony is to recognise the many volunteers that give up their time for the benefit of others in not just swimming but all sports in Wiltshire at all levels.
Phoebe started helping the club via the Aquaforce Young Volunteering programme, helping at poolside. Phoebe has completed her Level 2 Teaching Aquatics and teaches twice a week as part of Swindon ASC's 'Learn to Swim' programme. Phoebe has previously worked one to one with disabled swimmers and assisted with fundraising.

Phoebe got into the final three in her category and was invited to the prestigious gala awards ceremony at the City Hall in Salisbury last month.
Phoebe was very proud to be awarded runner-up in her category
